i'm sitting at the field office right now looking at their chapel bags, which i've raved about often on my blog, and thought about this beautiful 'cycle chic' collage i found. the only thing that's missing from it is these locally made bags, made by commuter cyclists for commuter cyclists.

what i'm wearing

here's another outfit natalie roos helped me put together. it's pretty simple, but flattering and comfy. i'm wearing an oversized peach/neutral toned t-shirt from edgars, an extra long knit cardi from woolworths, a grey woolies scarf, black jeggings from sissy boy and black oxford heels from a shoe store in cavendish.

yesterday i went shopping with natalie roos (makeup artist and now my stylist) for around 7 hours non-stop. you may remember that i posted a few pics of myself after natalie did my makeup a week or two ago? well, i felt so awesome that day, i asked her to help me shop too. we were so tired by last night, that we were draping ourselves over the mall benches and crying out in pain. but it was all worth it because i look and feel like a new woman today. i'm wearing a high-waisted maxi skirt from twist; a t-shirt from jay jays; a cropped cardi from edgars; a leather belt from the space and lace up brogue heels. watch this space to keep up with ensembles natalie helped me put together.

a rad project

i've been working with a team (at an agency in town), on an amazing project that will enhance your lives, once it's been launched. my team members are wonderful human beings and i'm loving working with them.

take care has become my 'go to' label for flattering basics and minimalist work wear. designed by cape town based designer, jessica hawood, the take care range can be found at nap stores, the neighbourgoods market, mungo & jemima and other stores across the country. i love the new lookbook, shot by tyrone bradley, which works so beautifully with the minimalist aesthetic of jessica's new range. i look forward to pawing through the winter range, jess!

i've been receiving quite a few enquiries about quilts and blankets, so i thought it was about time to show you all the different quilts you can order through my online shop. all the quilts are made from cotton fabric, 90% of which is vintage cotton fabric! every quilt is unique as a result. quilts are available in double or queen and start from R2200.

wow, where have i been? check out this awesome online shop called mint. mint was once a physical shop based in durban, but when owner kirsty was lured back into the corporate world, she continued to indulge her passion by selling her beautiful finds through the mint online shop. kirsty, if you gather enough cool things together, i will drive up with a truck and cram it with all these beautiful finds.
